Jean Synodinos: Here & Now

With Labor Day upon us, I'd like to think that the worst of the summer's heat is past, and we can look forward to gardens that have the strength to bloom again.

"Bloom" is a good metaphor for the fall that's ahead of me, personally. The studio is booked for October to start recording the new CD. I've persuaded Charles to take the helm again, and the new songs are fun and dark and light and dense and bouyant. More on the disc as fall progresses.

Another new project kicks off in late October as well. Am embarking on a three-year public odyssey to learn some shit and live a wider life by working my way through the 100+ badges in the Jr. Girl Scout badge book.
