Jean, Still remember how much I enjoyed hearing you at Saradora's in Round Rock years ago. Your performance was one of the few bright spots for me there. Not all music is ART. Yours is.
Just read "Randomness". I'm old enough to recall Vietnam. I see the collective "We" have learned nothing from it and now
I'm both old and sad. That era was proclaimed to be of the "self" and we spoke and shouted
our differences in public in a clumsy search for truth.
Forgive me, but today feels different to this old man--spiritually, impoverished, desperate for someone to tell it who it is and what is should believe; and searching only for a one-size-fits-all formula, like so much white gauze, to bind up society by force. I think this may be part of the problem you describe. Admittedly a broad brush--and just my opinion.
So I'm thankful for your art. It has a mind and speaks it. And real music doesn't lie.

I was just loading up my new ipod with all of my cd's and I spent a wonderful half hour listening to your music. I still ike the version of "Running With Me" from Demonstrative (which I am hanging onto because I think it will be a collectors item). I like you with just your guitar. So I started thinking of you and I went to your web site. I saw that you had married last year and I found myself filled up with joy. I knew you when you were going through some tough times.
